Valentines/Arizona Statehood Day Tomorrow

In upper elementary, our main focus for tomorrow will be on celebrating the anniversary of Arizona as a state, but we will have a small celebration during the last 30 minutes of the day where students may bring cards and/or candy for all classmates.  It is not mandatory to bring valentines, but if your child wishes to participate, they must bring something for everyone in the class and not just one or two friends.  Please check your email for the list of students in our classroom.  We are only able to provide first names.

Tomorrow kicks off our research into Arizona state history.  We have many books already and are happy to see that the children are eager to research a wide array of topics on their own.  We may take a small group for some to get more information from the library, but this project is meant to be very simple, without the need for any display boards or props. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us at any time.  We wish everyone a Happy Arizona Statehood day tomorrow!
